In the modern age of science, we still cannot explain how dreams work. It is uncertain whether they are a manifestation of our greatest, subconscious desires… or simply a mode in which our brains transition to, creating a random series of visions when there is nothing more to do during our sleep. However, Carl Jung hypothesized that dreams are a part of our psyche which seeks to communicate with us. As a result, they help us develop our personality through building self-awareness or in other words— Individuation.

Jung’s theory furthermore aligns with the embodiment of 11H and 12H themes: the collective conscious vs. unconscious. After all, both of these houses are ruled by Generational planets; Uranus (co-ruled by Saturn) and Neptune (co-ruled by Jupiter). Therefore, it should be no surprise as to how there are many dreams all over the world which hold and reveal similar themes and symbolic messages.
