Astrology Observations N°10

Solar Return Edition

Previously, we’ve taken a look at the Solar Return and some of its manifestations. If you haven’t yet, please feel free to check out my last post. Otherwise, let’s get right into this list of new observations!

All of these are based off of my own experiences, and dedicated to my loved ones who inspired me to make this post! Please take the information with a grain of salt if it does not resonate, as astrology can manifest in many different ways— other than the suggested notes below.

⌘ Solar Return 4H overlaying the Natal 11H refers to an increase of get togethers at your home throughout the year or you’ll be spending more time with childhood friends!

⌘ If your Solar Return houses overlay opposite Natal houses (ex. 12H on 6H and vice versa), you’ll be having a year where you feel pushed and pulled between your wants and needs

⌘ A 7H Venus in an Aries degree (1°, 13°, 25°) may suggest that a new relationship is on the horizon for the Solar Return year, especially if the placement is in Libra

⌘ An 8H Sagittarius in the Solar Return chart may either refer to receiving finances from abroad or through school scholarships and funding since Sagittarius governs both foreign affairs and higher education

⌘ Solar Return 5H overlaying the Natal 12H refers to a year where you become more in touch with your creativity and inner child! Since the 5H governs pleasure and entertainment, while the 12H governs our subconscious, dreams, music and the arts— manifesting beautiful creations will come more easily to you

⌘ Saturn in the 9H indicates some delays or restrictions during the school year, if the native is enrolled (ex. graduation being postponed, not meeting the required credits, etc).

Otherwise these obstacles may instead refer to one’s beliefs and/or travel plans during the Solar Return year

⌘ A 7H Gemini in the Solar Return can indicate two short term relationships or simply dating someone younger during the year

⌘ An 11H Scorpio stellium shows a likelihood of people fawning over you that year, especially if it includes Sun, Moon, Jupiter and/or Venus! This is mainly because people will view you as confident, powerful, comforting or attractive in general

⌘ A 9H Moon in the Solar Return may indicate travel plans to your parents’ homeland or the country of your origin during that year

⌘ Jupiter conjunct the Ascendant may show a likelihood of weight gain during the Solar Return year, especially if it aspects the 4H! Of course, this may not be as noticeable if Saturn or Capricorn is involved

⌘ Solar Return 5H overlaying the Natal 3H may refer to writing and communications as a hobby throughout the year or quite a few short distance adventures

⌘ Having Mercury in the 8H may indicate gains in finances through teaching others or through intellectual research.

If it’s in Gemini or Virgo, there is an even stronger indication that it can have to do with publication. A very specific manifestation would be a year of learning and sharing occult knowledge

⌘ Planets or angles at an Aries degree (1°, 13°, 25°) in the Solar Return will show you where you’ll have new beginnings

Ex. Having it on your Midheaven may suggest a new job, on your 7H/DSC may suggest a new partnership, on your 5H Venus… you may have a new aesthetic, etc

⌘ A 7H Pluto suggests that you may have a significant (karmic) connection with someone during the Solar Return year— it’s very likely that they’ll provoke a shift in how you view or approach relationships

⌘ Solar Return 9H overlaying the Natal 7H may indicate a romantic or business partnership with a foreigner or someone you’ve met at school during that year!

⌘ You may find yourself being a lot more popular during the year you have a 5H or Leo stellium in the Solar Return!

⌘ Having Scorpio or Pluto in the Solar Return 5H can indicate an increase of sexual activity during the year, and this is even more evident when the Natal 8H overlays this house

⌘ Solar Return Midheaven conjunct Natal Ascendant suggests that the native’s career path will be supported and advanced through independence, confidence, and simply being themselves

⌘ Having Neptune conjunct the Descendant in the Solar Return may indicate a potential relationship that causes some confusion in the native’s emotions

⌘ Solar Return North Node conjunct Natal Vertex hints at fated events and people who are meant to help you throughout your life purpose that year— you’ll likely find yourself being in the right places at the right times
